LCD Monitors
Liquid Crystal Display Monitor |
The thin, flat PC monitor, not the one with the large rear.
Each pixel in an LCD Monitor is divided into three cells colored red, green, and blue. Varing degrees of these colors occus when an electrical charge is applied to the cell. LCD color monitors are a great alternative to the older CRT monitors because they have no large picture tube. They are used in laptops, desktop monitors and even televisions. These are sometimes referred to as flat panel monitors.
